Dr. Jamal Amira, a consultant surgical oncologist, recommended that women with a family history of breast cancer follow a set of guidelines to reduce their risk of developing it in the future.

Amira outlined the procedures to be followed in order to avoid hereditary breast cancer in the following tips:
1- Periodic breast examination, for early detection of cancer.
2- Follow a healthy diet.
3- Reducing sugars and fats in meals.
4- Exercising daily, such as walking.
5- Losing excess weight.
6- Early marriage and childbearing.
7- Reliance on breastfeeding.
