Direct: Oil futures prices rose at the end of Thursday’s trading, supported by the uncertainty related to the Middle East.
Futures prices for standard Brent crude for April delivery rose by regarding 1.5%, or the equivalent of $1.26, at $82.86 per barrel, which is the highest level since the end of the January 26 session ($82.95), following declining during the session at $80.72.
While the price of US Nymex crude for April delivery, the most active contract, rose by 1.6%, or $1.23, to $77.59 per barrel, which is the highest settlement since January 30 ($77.65), following a decline during trading to $75.52.
