On the island, many are only now really realizing how much the EU exit is damaging the country economically. However, the government is trying to avoid the discussion.

If there is a Brexit consensus in academia, then it is probably this: Leaving the EU has damaged Great Britain economically, the only question is how much. The London School of Economics has been trying to find answers for a long time, and this week the time has come again. In a published Thursday Study economists examined whether food has become more expensive because of Brexit. Result: Yes, clearly.
