Bridin Murphy, publicist for U2

Last Tuesday, January 23, rumors circulated regarding what seemed to be the visit of the band U2 to La Guajira, Colombia, to record a music video. However, La W spoke with Bridin Murphy, the group’s publicist, and denied the rumors.

According to rumors, the musicians would have arrived in private plane to Riohacha and from there they moved by private helicopter to the desert. In the same way, that the group had lunch with all the production team.

Nevertheless, U2 publicist Bridin Murphy told W Radio that “the band has not been to Colombia recently”, and that “those images circulating online appear to be of actors dressed as the band”.

In the images to which the publicist refers, you can see who it would be Bono next to who appears to be Adam Clayton having lunch “corrientazo” with the team that made the video, however, as Murphy said, it would be actors dressed as the artists of the band.
