Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hopes that Singapore will continue to support Vietnam in areas where Singapore has strengths such as: digital economy, digital transformation, innovation, entrepreneurship, technology incubator development, education and training; proposed to create favorable conditions for the Vietnamese community to do business, live and study in Singapore.
The President of Singapore’s National Assembly highly appreciated the determination and vision of Vietnamese leaders in the process of developing the country and promoting the implementation of new fields such as clean energy and sustainable development; affirming that the Singapore Parliament will definitely support the initiatives and agreements that the two governments are implementing in all fields.
The two leaders exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern.
Singapore’s National Assembly Chairman said that Vietnam plays a very important role in maintaining solidarity and promoting the central role of ASEAN; The two countries’ legislatures agreed to continue working closely at the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA), the World Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (IPU), and the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum.
