Cairo – Three British tourists are missing following their boat caught fire in Egypt’s Red Sea. The BBC reported that the boat caught fire while en route to the Elphinstone Reef. There were 15 British tourists and 14 crew on the boat. 12 tourists were rescued. It is reported that there are no injuries and all are healthy.

The search is on for the three missing persons. The boat left Port Khaleeb on June 6. Was supposed to come back on Sunday. Initial information is that the cause of the fire was a short circuit in the engine room. Footage captured by onlookers shows the boat fully engulfed in flames.
