American pop singer Britney Spears announced on Saturday that she has lost her baby.
“It is with great sadness that we announce that we have lost our miracle baby so early in pregnancy,” the pop singer said in an Instagram post signed by her and her fiancé Sam Asgari, 28, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The 40-year-old singer said she and Asghari “will continue to try to grow our beautiful family”.
It is noteworthy that Spears announced to her followers via Instagram in early April that she was pregnant with her third child.
