The Brooklyn Nets signed forward Darius Bazley to a one-year deal, but the Nets have only just begun to strengthen.

The Nets have already made a lot of moves in the off-season, including recruiting Dennis Smith Jr. and Lonnie Walker IV, and signing Darius Bazley, but it seems that the Nets’ strengthening actions have just begun.

According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Nets have finalized a one-year deal with forward Darius Bazley.

The 23-year-old Darius Bazley was selected by the Utah Jazz with the 23rd pick in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft. However, he did not play any games for the Jazz and was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder on draft night.

Darius Bazley spent four seasons in the Thunder, averaging 9.1 points and 5.3 rebounds per game, shooting 411% from the field and 31% from the three-point range.

Darius Bazley was traded to the Phoenix Suns on February 9 this year.

After joining the Nets, Darius Bazley will be the third big man, helping the team’s main center Nic Claxton and backup center Day’Ron Sharpe.
