The firm responsible for the independent investigation into Hue Jackson’s claims once morest the Cleveland Browns found no hard evidence to support the former head coach’s claims.

Jackson had hinted in a Twitter post that the Ohio roster was paying him large sums of money to deliberately lose games so the organization would get a better pick in the next draft.
“The investigation did not find any evidence to establish that management or staff members of the Browns were trying to lose, offering bonuses for losing, or making decisions to weaken their team in order to afford themselves. a more favorable position in the draft”, can we read in a press release issued by the NFL, on which the NFL Network got its hands.
During this investigation, several current and former members of the Browns organization were interviewed, including owner Jimmy Haslam.
“Even though Coach Jackson initially agreed to meet with us, he did not follow up on that meeting.”
Jackson, now 56, pointed the finger at the team he led between 2016 and 2018 shortly following Brian Flores’ story broke.
Flores then filed a lawsuit once morest the NFL and three of its teams for discriminatory practices during the hiring process, while revealing that the Florida team offered him $ 100,000 per game lost in 2019.
