The Cleveland Browns got their fifth win of the season in quarterback Deshaun Watson’s comeback. 700 days after his last game in the National Football League (NFL), Watson, who had been suspended for eleven games because of allegations of abuse, did not have a touchdown pass in the 27:14 against the Houston Texans on Sunday.
The Browns scored their three own touchdowns after intercepting balls through their defense. In a duel with his former team, Watson made twelve of his 22 pass attempts to a teammate and threw for a total of just 131 yards. One of his passes was intercepted.
Green Bay new record holder
In Chicago, the Green Bay Packers were able to celebrate a 28:19 win in the fourth quarter after being 3:16 behind after a furious comeback and thus only their fifth win of the season. With a total of 787 wins in an NFL regular game, Green Bay surpassed arch-rivals Chicago as the most successful team in league history.
