Brussels Airlines has decided in close collaboration with the Lufthansa group to suspend all its flights to Tel Aviv until Monday October 9 inclusive, the airline announced on Saturday evening.
Brussels Airlines justifies its decision given the currently “very unpredictable” situation in Israel. The company is seeking solutions to reschedule the trips of impacted passengers as quickly as possible, “but safety always remains a top priority,” it communicates.
Brussels Airlines and the Lufthansa group finally declare that they are ready to cooperate with the authorities to organize repatriations or relief flights if they request it.
For its part, the airline giant Lufthansa, Europe’s leading carrier, has canceled the majority of its flights to and from Israel scheduled for this Saturday. The German group maintained only one flight to Frankfurt this Saturday.
