Traffic was interrupted in the heart of Brussels around 12 p.m. this Wednesday.

The origin of this disturbance would be linked to the release of smoke coming from the metro tracks at the Central Station, said Guy Sablon, spokesperson for the Stib. The spokesperson for the Brussels firefighters, Walter Derieuw, informs us that no incident has been reported.

The central station was evacuated.

According to the latest information, the interrupted traffic between the Bekkant metro and Art-Loi has been able to resume but remains disrupted.
