Faced with the exorbitant cost of the offers received, Beliris is awaiting new instructions from the Brussels government.

LWill Brussels residents one day be able to travel by metro between Albert (Forest) and Bordet (Evere)? For several years, the Brussels government has answered this question in the affirmative. Since Tuesday, however, the answer has proven to be far from obvious. The team of Rudi Vervoort (PS) has been carrying out the project to create the Northern line for years. Supported by Stib and announced for 2025, its first section consists of the metroification of the pre-metro (tram line 3-4) between Gare du Nord and Albert. Managed by Beliris and promised for 2032, the second part consists of the construction of seven stations between the Gare du Nord and Bordet. Problem: the project is leaking from all sides.
