Brussels Police Arrest Suspect in Theft from Religious Offering Boxes

On Wednesday January 3, a patrol from the territorial intervention brigade of the Brussels CAPITAL Ixelles police zone arrested a man suspected of having stolen money from the offering boxes of two religious buildings located in the center from Brussels. The perpetrator was first seen, in a church on rue Marché aux Herbes, using adhesive tape to remove money from boxes that were near the church’s candles. He then fled with the contents of the offering boxes.
