Rachid Madrane, current president of the Brussels parliament, will not be a candidate in the June 2024 elections. He announced this during the Brussels PS congress organized this Saturday morning. They will be, respectively, Ahmed Laaouej, deputy mayor of Koekelberg, president of the Brussels federation of the party and Caroline Désir, Minister of Education in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
Rachid Madrane explained during his intervention that he did not accept the procedure for drawing up lists. He then left the congress accompanied by other activists.
