Brussels Region Speed Cameras: Locations, Updates, and Future Plans

2023-08-12 06:00:00

Like every Thursday, the Lidars were moved to the different police zones of the Brussels Region. They will remain in place for a week, until August 17.

In Etterbeek, there is a radar in front of the town hall, avenue des Casernes. A roadway as a reminder limited to 30 km/h. Ditto on chaussée de Waterloo, in Ixelles, where a Lidar sits not far from the Carrefour Molière store.

They are back following a month’s absence: the Lidars are operational once more in the streets of the Brussels Region

In Schaerbeek, it flashes rue Renkin. In Molenbeek, the device of repression remains installed rue de Birmingham. In Anderlecht, on the edge of Parc Astrid, verbalizations avenue Eugène Ysaye.

27 new speed cameras in 2023 in Brussels and 15 others in 2024: two section speed cameras should also see the light of day this year

To the south, in Uccle, a Lidar is operational on avenue Latérale, not far from the Vivier D’Oie station. Still in Uccle, another speed camera verbalizes rue du Repos. A word of advice: respect the speed limits in all circumstances.
