Bruxelles Mobilité indicated that three Brussels tunnels, Porte de Namur, Bailli and Vleurgat, would soon be closed to traffic due to work, reports BX1.
Traffic may be complicated during this work period which will extend from October 27 to November 6 for the Porte de Namur tunnel. The goal is to remove asbestos from the tunnel. To regulate traffic, only one lane will be available in the Trône tunnel towards Midi.
And from October 29 to November 6, the deck of the Bailli and Vleurgat tunnels will be reinforced. To ensure the safety of workers, a high voltage line will be taken out of service. Traffic will be affected.

“Towards the city center, traffic will remain possible in the Bailli tunnel, either via the port towards the center, or via the port towards La Cambre. In the direction of La Cambre, traffic will have to be diverted on the surface via rue de Livourne between October 29 and November 6. The Bailli and Vleurgat tunnels will be completely closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. every night,” we can read on the BX1 website.
