Commotion in Antioquia was caused by the complaint made by the Human Rights Roundtable (HR) of the East for a brutal attempt at feminicide in the municipality of El Retiro.
The incident, according to the complaint, occurred on February 15 in the Pantanillo village of said area of Eastern Antioquia.
According to the entity, a farmer who was passing through a pasture in the area noticed some bushes moving and when he arrived at the site he found a woman with serious injuries to her head and body.
The authorities were immediately notified and firefighters rescued the woman to take her to a healthcare center where she was treated and where she is recovering from her injuries.

She was raped, stabbed and beaten on the head until she was unrecognizable.
From the Mayor’s Office of El Retiro they confirmed the fact and indicated that the victim is being treated.
Through a statement, the municipal administration indicates that the woman was treated at the San Vicente Fundación Hospital and that the case was referred to the CTI of the Prosecutor’s Office.
“From the first moment, the district administration activated the gender violence route, with gender equity and mental health programs. During this time, daily monitoring and support has been provided to the victim’s family,” the document says.

The Mayor’s Office also rejected this fact and the fact that the victim’s identity is being made known, calling the case “yellowish” by some sectors.
For its part, the Antioquia Police reported that in coordination with the family police station, the Ministry of Health, the Attorney General’s Office and the criminal investigation section (SIJIN), the pertinent investigations are being carried out and all the necessary measures are being deployed. actions to find the perpetrator or those responsible for this crime.
