Bryant homers twice, Rockies beat Diamondbacks

Kris Bryant had his first multi-homer game of the season, leading the Colorado Rockies to a 6-5 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday.

Bryant hit solo homers in the first and seventh innings, his second and third homers of the season.

The victory went to Chad Kuhl (6-5), who pitched five innings and allowed four runs on six hits, in addition to giving up three walks. Alex Colome earned his fourth save of the year despite giving up a run in the bottom of the ninth. Sean Poppen (1-2) took the loss.

For the Rockies, Cuban José Iglesias 3-2 with a run scored. Venezuelan Yonathan Daza 3-1 with a run scored and an RBI.

For the Diamondbacks, the Dominicans Ketel Marte 1-1; Geraldo Perdomo 3-2 with three runs scored; Sergio Alcántara 4-1 with a run scored and two RBIs. Venezuelans David Peralta 4-0; Jose Herera 1-0.
