Buffalo Bills dominate Los Angeles Rams, NFL season opener

Announced as the big favorites to win the next Suoer Bowl (February 12 in Glendale, Arizona), the Buffalo Bills started their NFL season with a bang, which opened on Thursday. In the early game of the first day, they clearly imposed themselves on the field of the Los Angeles Rams (31-10), the defending champions.

Gabe Davis, the Bills receiver, scored the first touchdown of the 2022 season, after five minutes of play in the first quarter, well served by Josh Allen, his quarterback. He was imitated in the second half by Isaiah McKenzie and Stefon Diggs. Allen, QB also good at running, scored a TD himself. He finished the game with 26 of 31 completions for 297 yards, but two interceptions conceded.

Stafford sacked seven times, intercepted three times

The Buffalo Bills defense has also done a lot of work, led by linebacker Von Miller, who arrived this summer, eight-time all-star and two-time Super Bowl winner (in 2016 with Denver and last February with … the Rams ). She has indeed sacked Matthew Stafford, the Californian quarterback, seven times, who has also been intercepted three times. Miller made two of those sacks.

Stafford threw for 240 yards on 29 passes. Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles’ star receiver, caught 13 of those balls (128 yards) and scored his team’s only touchdown. The first day of the NFL will continue on Saturday, with in particular a nice clash in perspective between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Las Vegas Raiders. It will end on Monday with the game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos.
