This is not the first time this situation has happened. Nicholas Brendon had already suffered the same cardiac incident following a spinal operation. The actor had to be operated on due to significant pain and “paralysis of the genitals and legs”. According to his manager, these symptoms appeared following he slept on a concrete floor in a cell following his arrest for drug possession last year.
