This project represents an investment of approximately 500,000 francs. It is financed equally by the Bugnenets-Savagnières resort, located between the canton of Neuchâtel and the Bernese Jura, and by the Swiss Ski School of Neuchâtel-Les Bugnenets. Its purpose is to bring together and modernize the services of the two entities: the cash desks and the start of the Fornel ski lift for the first, as well as an office and equipment room for the second.
Serge Rohrer is a member of the board of directors of Bugnenets-Savagnières. For him, thanks to this new structure, the two entities will be able to make their infrastructures more user-friendly:
The inauguration is scheduled for the start of the winter sports season. Investing in a ski area in this period of climatic uncertainty, there are some that it would set back. This is not how Serge Rohrer sees things:
Regarding the possibility of installing snow cannons or other similar structures at Bugnenets-Savagnières, the question is still under consideration. Initial contacts have been made with the circles concerned and several technical solutions have been studied. /jhi
