Many parents prefer to build a house with multiple roles to include all family members in the future, and they consider that it is better and more economical than buying a housing unit for each individual separately.
That is why the prices of building materials occupy citizens of all levels, as well as contractors who keep track of prices, especially in light of the recent proliferation of construction and architecture rates, with the state’s tendency to build thousands of housing units for citizens in all governorates of the Republic, in light of the “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative.

Building materials prices today
The local price portal of the Council of Ministers revealed the price of investment iron today, which amounted to 17817.92 pounds per ton, compared to 17841.67 pounds yesterday.
The portal announced that the price of iron from the Ezz Dekheila company “delivery of factory land” reached 18,280.21 pounds per ton, compared to 18,234.76 pounds yesterday.
She also indicated a decrease in the price of a ton of gray cement today, to 1462.01 pounds per ton, compared to 1478.26 pounds yesterday.

Gypsum board prices witnessed varying increases in the local markets, according to each region and each factor, against the background of the decision of the Automatic Pricing Committee for Petroleum Products to move Petrol and diesel prices last July.
For his part, Alaa Al-Sayed, a gypsum board design worker, revealed the size of the increase in prices after the increase in the price of gasoline and diesel.
Al-Sayed indicated, in exclusive statements to Al-Mustaqbal, that the increase in the price of gypsum board ranged between 5 to 15 pounds per meter.
He stated that this increase caused a decrease in demand for gypsum board designs, which forced him and a number of workers in the same field to implement the designs at the old prices before the recent increase.
Alaa El-Sayed monitored the new prices for gypsum board designs locally, including materials, installation and putty, as follows:
The price per linear meter of white gypsum board was between 130 and 145 pounds.
And the price of a flat meter of white gypsum board recorded between 170 and 185 pounds.
While the price per linear meter of green gypsum board ranged between 140 and 155 pounds.
The price of a flat meter of green gypsum board rose to range between 190 and 205 pounds.
