Doha: The inaugural Sports Tournament for the Mohammed Sabeeh Bukhari Memorial Cup, titled ‘Sports is Life’, kicks off in Doha on March 4 as part of the Indian Social Forum’s annual sports festival to mark Qatar’s National Sports Day. The closing ceremony will be held on March 11, officials said.
The competition is being held in football, volleyball, kabaddi and tug-of-war for the trophy to be named following the late MS Bukhari, also known as MS Sabeeh Bukhari, a well-known businessman and sports enthusiast in Qatar.
