The presidential candidate of Together for Change, Patricia Bullrich, revealed that she warned former president Mauricio Macri that “it is not time to go out and generate problems or criticism” within the opposition space, after the different intersections that the former president had with the leaders radicals.
The warning from the former Security Minister came after the conflictive comings and goings between Macri and some leaders such as Gerardo Morales and Emiliano Yacobitti, due to the post-PASO rapprochement between the former president and the candidate of La Libertad Avanza (LLA), Javier Milei.
“After the PASO, with so much praise for Milei, he has done a lot of damage to Together for Change,” was Morales’ criticism of the former president.
In an interview with CNN, Bullrich assured: “I also spoke about this issue. It’s time to talk to the Argentines. These twenty-odd days of campaign are going to be fundamental.”
Regarding the answer that Macri gave her, the candidate highlighted: “He said yes, that it was important not to make noise in the middle of this campaign.”
Bullrich pointed out that he sent that message to all the leaders of the coalition and exemplified with the case of Morales, due to the controversy he generated with his presence at the event with the governors of the Norte Grande led by Sergio Massa. The candidate asked the governor of Jujuy to “clarify” that her attendance was within the framework of “an institutional act.”
“I was with Gerardo Morales in Jujuy and he said ‘100% support Patricia, I am Patricia’s soldier, I am 100% in the campaign,’ said Bullrich.
