The head of headquarters of the 810th separate marine brigade of the Black Sea Fleet, Yan Sukhanov, was buried in Sevastopol. He took part in the battles for Mariupol and for the Azovstal plant. This was announced by the regional governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
“Today they took us on our last journey <…> Yan Aleksandrovich Sukhanov is the chief of staff of the 810th separate marine brigade of the Black Sea Fleet,” Razvozhaev wrote in his telegram channel. He noted Sukhanov’s achievements, including command of a unit during the battles for Mariupol and the Azovstal plant.
Sukhanov was wounded in Mariupol and later taken to a hospital in Moscow. There he was diagnosed with a disease that did not allow his body to cope with his injuries. Private Artem Klyagin was buried together with the head of headquarters. He died heroically during the battles near the Kherson region.
