Bus Accident in Frasnes-lez-Buissenal: Incident Report and Updates

The accident took place a little before nine o’clock, at the exit of Frasnes-lez-Buissenal, along the road from Lessines, to Prironche, in the bend located shortly following the intersection with rue Boctiaumutte.

A bus from the company bus.be (formerly Demuynck & Vansteelandt, whose site is located in Bellegem) which was heading towards Lahamaide, left the road, for an unknown reason. The road may have been slippery there. The bus lay on its side, in a field. The driver was alone on board.

No one was injured, but an ambulance attended the scene. The driver was badly shaken.

Traffic was not disrupted following the swerve, the police ensuring the security of the scene, while awaiting the arrival of the breakdown service.

The accident was noticed by the Collines police zone.
