Curious incident on Friday around 3.30 p.m. in Weinheimergasse in the 16th district of Vienna! A faux pas happened to a bus driver of route 46B when exiting a public transport station: the rear of the 46B bus touched a parked motorcycle – it crashed into the asphalt.

Actually, there shouldn’t be any bus stop in said street, but due to numerous construction sites in this summer season, a bus stop in front of a traffic light had to be relocated to Weinheimergasse. For this purpose, the right-hand lane in front of the crossing area was specially provided with a parking ban. The bike was right in front of the prohibition sign when the crash happened:
It is not yet known whether the bus driver noticed anything about the overturned vehicle. The fact is, however, that the driver briefly pressed the brakes immediately after touching the motorcycle, but then quickly continued driving.
