Bus robbers arrested

Two Greek youths and a foreigner robbed their victims at city bus stops or inside them.

The two were arrested as part of the spontaneous procedure, while the third, foreign, accomplice, whose details have already been identified, is being sought.

Their action is located in areas of the municipality of Pavlos Mela during the period from February 27 to March 03 and concerns the commission of four robberies once morest unsuspecting citizens.

In particular, the three perpetrators boarded city buses that ran routes that passed through the municipality of Pavlos Melas, or waited at the stops and following approaching their potential victims, using physical violence, removed gold chains with crosses from their necks, while in in some cases, in order to keep the stolen goods in their possession, they did not hesitate to beat them.

A relevant case file was filed once morest them, by police officers of the Pavlou Melas Security Department, which will be submitted to the competent prosecutor.
