The anti-terrorism court discharged former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi from 12 cases related to the events of May 9, 2023.
The case was heard by Judge Malik Ijaz Asif of Anti-Terrorism Court in Adiala Jail.
The police was of the opinion that Bushra Bibi will be investigated in 12 cases including the GHQ attack. On behalf of Bushra Bibi, her lawyer Salman Safdar argued against the police applications in the anti-terrorism court.
Bushra Bibi was named accused in sensitive cases including GHQ, ISI office.

Salman Safdar further said that the prosecution has placed three statements before the court in which it has been stated that Bushra was involved in May 9, we have given long arguments before the court, Bushra Bibi has been blamed in all the cases.
He further said that after many days a welcome decision of the court has come. The court has rejected the evidence of the prosecution. Detailed arguments have been given on both sides.
