The year 2024 will be a super sports year. In June, the national soccer team will compete at the European Championships in Germany, and the Olympic Games will begin in France in July.
All of these events are not only interesting from a sporting point of view, there is also a lot of money involved. An illustrious group will discuss the economic factor of sport at the business talk organized by OÖNachrichten and Hypo Oberösterreich on Monday, April 22nd, from 6 p.m. in the OÖNachrichten forum in the Promenade Galleries.
The main speech will be given by the long-time managing director of the Bundesliga, author and president of the Burgenland Football Association, Georg Pangl. Pangl describes his experience organizing the Champions League in his book “My Theater of Dreams”.

Also sitting on the podium are the general secretary of the Austrian Ski Association (ÖSV), Christian Scherer, the manager of the women’s handball team, Isabel Mittmansgruber, who has played 107 international matches herself, and Hypo boss Klaus Kumpfmüller as OÖSV president and sports sponsor.
