BVB: court trouble for Dortmund star – it’s about energy drinks Sports

It was the next round in the dispute between BVB striker Anthony Modeste (34) and the beverage manufacturer “Heavy 1 World GmbH”. It’s about 350,000 euros.

Modeste has been suing the company at the Bonn Regional Court since the middle of last year.

He had ordered energy drinks from the company and then wanted to sell them in France under his name. Modeste is said to have paid license fees of almost 250,000 euros in advance. There was also 100,000 euros for the product.

But the drinks never came to be sold.

According to Modeste, the energy drinks were never delivered to him. The company, on the other hand, claims that the footballer did not pick up the drinks.

On Friday, a former employee of the manufacturer charged the company. “There was criminal energy behind it. It was never planned for Mr. Modeste to have drinks delivered by the company,” Salesler testified. “Instead of going to France, the cans go to Morocco.”

A judgment is to be announced in the dispute on March 3rd.
