This cracker deserves a mega setting – and he gets it!
In the top game between BVB and Leipzig (Saturday, 6.30 p.m.), the Signal-Iduna-Park in Dortmund can be felt completely for the first time since February 2020. 81365 fans are allowed in.
In Stammplatz, the daily soccer podcast from BILD, BVB reporter Jonas Ortmann talks about the big fan return: “The Ultras are making their comeback in Dortmund. 80,000 fans, top game against Leipzig and the Ultras are back – if you don’t celebrate the cauldron, you’re not a football fan. At the press conference before the game, coach Marco Rose (45) was traditionally asked about his squad options at the beginning. His surprising answer: “First of all, the most important personnel question is the fans! We are really looking forward to the fact that after more than 700 days they are finally allowed to go back to the stadium, that we have a full house and that everyone is there. I can already see that in the dressing room. Marco Reus has been walking around with an enchanted smile for days because he is simply looking forward to a full stadium. That can give us a lot.”
