Bye bye 2021 is the most watched program in the history of Quebec television

ICI Télé attracted the Quebec public with its December 31 programs, in particular the traditional humorous review of the year. Seen by 4,862,000 people, the Bye bye 2021 exceeds the Bye bye 2020, which had been watched by 200,000 fewer viewers.

This figure is higher than that announced on January 4. The preliminary data announced at the time did not include replay or Internet views.

Three of the other shows broadcast on ICI Télé on December 31 also did better than last year, breaking their records.

Report 2021 was followed by 3,629,000 pairs of eyes, compared to 3,467,000 in 2020. Hosted by France Beaudoin, the show Live from New Years Day attracted 2,334,000 people, 30,000 more than the previous year.

And Behind the scenes of Bye Bye attracted 2,256,000 viewers while the show had gathered 2,164,000 fans in 2020.

As to See you next year, 1,938,000 people listened to Philippe Laguë and his team. This is slightly lower than the 2,007,000 figure recorded a year earlier.
