CA Immo sells complex in Bucharest and leaves Romania

The listed CA Immo signed the sale of the Romanian platform today, Tuesday, and left the market there. It was regarding a 165,000 m2 office portfolio in Bucharest, comprising seven buildings. No information was given on the buyer and the selling price, the latter was around 3 percent below the book value as of June 30th. The transaction is not subject to any further conditions, the closing was therefore expected shortly following the signing, announced CA Immo.

“With this sale and exit from the Romanian market, we continue to focus the CA Immo portfolio on high-quality, modern office properties in our core markets and monetize investments whose returns are below our targets and which are non-strategic in terms of location, asset class and size “, says CA Immo boss Silvia Schmitten-Walgenbach. According to the information, the annualized gross rental income was recently EUR 30.4 million.
