Diosdado Cabello, first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), released on Wednesday night posters of “Wanted” by several Venezuelan opposition leaders, including that of Juan Guaidó.
“I got these very nice posters,” he commented when showing on the cameras of VTV the images of some opponents who received pardon from the government of Nicolás Maduro such as: Freddy Guevara and Tomás Guanipa. In addition, he showed the profiles of the president in charge Juan Guaidó, Miguel Pizarro and Stalin González, among others.
In all the images the inscription “thief” appears at the bottom.
During the broadcast of his program, the also deputy of the 2020 National Assembly assured that the group of opponents will “get their surprise gift” for the alleged theft of assets abroad.
“Opponents who ask for intervention, we are going to look for you (…) here I got the list of the first to whom surprises are going to come, forgive me the wrapping paper because there weren’t,” added Cabello without mentioning names .
“They swear that they are still the National Assembly. What is left of the right is gathered in the courtyard of a building and broadcast for the world to believe. Sure, what they are planning is how they keep stealing. I am convinced that justice is going to be imposed, so no one will be surprised by surprises, it will not be a Christmas gift, but it will be close to Carnival. Everyone is going to get their surprise gift, no one is going to be left empty-handed, “he said.
And he added: “There will be surprises, I repeat there will be surprises and there will be justice, believe me. You go out into the street and the people say ‘justice’. There is going to be justice for some, do not go running out skinny ”.
On Tuesday, January 4, Nicolás Maduro asked the 2020 AN to investigate the Guaidó Parliament.
“Uncover the rotten pot from the early rise that the opponents gave themselves by distributing the loot that they have stolen from the country’s bank accounts! It is fair and necessary,” Maduro insisted during his speech.
“About the latest events of the illegal AN and how the loot they have left from the criminal appropriation of the country’s wealth and foreign accounts is shared in the eyes of Venezuelans,” he said.
“Now they find themselves like birds of prey, festering, sharing the loot (…) a shameful role, a sad role that some of those who were once political leaders of the opposition are playing.
