Cairo Film Festival announces the opening of film registration for its first session

The management of the Cairo International Film Festival announced the opening of registration for films wishing to participate in the activities of its 44th session, which is scheduled to take place from November 13 to 22 at the Egyptian Opera House, starting from May 15, provided that requests for films from all countries will continue to be received. All over the world, no later than August 15, through the festival’s official website.

For his part, the artist Hussein Fahmy, President of the Cairo Film Festival, said in a press statement that the festival seeks in its 44th session to attract more diverse works that include different ideas, cultures and cinematic trends by opening the door for participation to new and inspiring experiences from all countries of the world.

With regard to preparations and preparations, director Amir Ramses, director of the festival, said that the administration has completed all preparations for receiving participation requests and responding to them through the official website, noting that work on the course program has already begun in cooperation with the distinguished team of the festival, which has achieved remarkable success in the courses. The director of the critic’s artistic office, Andrew Mohsen, and critic Osama Abdel Fattah, director of the Critics’ Week program, and the young director Youssef Hisham was assigned to manage the short film program in addition to following up on working on films for the Americas, critic Rasha Hosni for the Asian program, and director Maggie Marjan for Sharq Cinema. Europe.

The Cairo International Film Festival, one of the oldest and most regular festivals in the Arab world and Africa, is unique in being the only festival in the Arab and African region registered in Category A in the International Federation of Producers in Paris (FIAPF).
