The actor Callum Turnerwho was in “Masters of the Air” (“Masters of the Air”)will lead the cast of “Neuromancer”a future ten-episode series from Apple TV+ based on novel of the same name William Gibson.
In the series, Turner will play Case, a super-hacker who is thrust into a web of digital espionage and high-risk crimes to survive, always accompanied by his partner, the assassin Molly. The series does not yet have a premiere date.
Created by Graham Roland (“Prison Break”) e JD Dillard (“The island mystery”), the production will be a collaboration between Skydance Television, Anonymous Content e Apple Studiosas in DreamCrew Entertainment also on board.
Graham Roland will lead the series as showrunner, with JD Dillard set to direct the pilot episode. Executive producers include: David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Matt Thunell, Drake (himself, the rapper), Adel ‘Future’ Only, Jason Shrier e Zack Hayden.
When released, the novel received critical acclaim, winning several prestigious awards. It marked the beginning of the iconic Sprawl trilogyfollowed by “Count Zero” e “Mona Lisa Overdrive”.
