Kozhikode: A guest worker has been arrested for trying to record a video of a woman’s toilet set up in a hotel in the city. Tufail Raja, 20, a native of Khurkha, Dinajpur, West Bengal, was arrested. The accused will be produced in court today. The woman, who arrived at the hotel with her husband in the evening, went into the bathroom and saw white paper wrapped around the window. The phone camera was left open when the suspect opened the paper.
The woman took the phone and informed the hotel owner and lodged a complaint with the police. Police led by Farook Inspector G Balachandran checked the phone. The worker arrived at the hotel and was taken into custody. The young man came to work in a hotel a month and a half ago.
