The upcoming tape is the first collaboration between Diaz and Fox since they presented “Annie” 8 years ago. Commenting on the news, Cameron said she was “extremely concerned but excited to be back”. In this context, “Netflix” pointed out that the production of Back in Action will begin later this year, and it will be a film that combines comedy and action, without providing additional details.
Cameron officially confirmed her retirement from acting in 2018. After breaking away from Hollywood, she said she had found “peace”, but she also stated that she was not ruling out a comeback one day.
