An interview by Camila Escribens, Miss Peru 2023, went viral on social networks, since the 24-year-old model he slipped up while talking and the presenter had to correct her in full live broadcast.
Escribens offered an interview for the channel hello tvin which he spoke about the difficulties that he experienced during part of his life. In addition, she claimed that she insisted for the past few years until she won the beauty pageant.
“I said that my dream was to be Miss Peru and I was never going to stop. Every time that door opens, I’ll say ‘Hello, I’m back‘” Escribens said in the interview. “I’m back,” the presenter responded immediately.
SPANISH CRITICIZED BY ESCRIBENS
Some Peruvians criticized Escribens for the mistake he made on the air during the interview. They also say that has an accent that is not characteristic of the South American country.
Escribens has defended himself on several occasions against these accusations, since he lived in the United States for several years. “It took me a little bit to speak Spanish when I returned to Peru,” said the young woman.

“I have to practice my Spanish more. Many say that I have an accent. I have grown up in the United States. My first language was Spanish, but at school I had to speak English”, he told The Republic.
