Camila Riveiro won Best Typical Costume at Reina Hispanoamericana in Bolivia

the Guatemalan Camila Riveiro is dazzling in his participation in the contest of Spanish American Queen 2022where he won as Best Typical Costume. What a chile!

The contest is held in Porongo in Santa Cruz, Bolivia and has representatives from all the Latin American countries.

Camila Riveiro won Best Typical Costume in the Reina Hispanoamericana contest in Bolivia

The contest has been held in Bolivia since March 11 and will conclude on Sunday, March 26, 2023, where the Guatemalan will seek to compete for the crown.

The cobanera has looked spectacular in her presentations and for this reason she has attracted attention for her beauty, posture and elegance.

Camila Riveiro shone with the Best Typical Costume

Camila explained that the suit represents the color, joy, diversity, culture and warmth of Guatemala, as well as many Latin American countries.

The meaning of the suit, which was made by Guatemalan artisans, is:

  • On the back the colors it has are those of the macaw.
  • The headdress is like the ones used by the Mayan warriors
  • Each of the pieces used in its elaboration can be found in the Central Market from Guatemala City.
  • In addition, the suit was made by the designer Cesar Alejandro Portillofrom Teculutan, Zacapa.
  • César Portillo also designed the fancy dress for Ivana Batchelorwho wore it in the contest Miss Grand International 2021.

Guatemalan bird sounds

One of Camila’s most important moments was when she finished explaining the meaning of the costume, with her presentation with sounds of animals from the national jungle.

Barefoot and to the rhythm of the sound of the birds, the cobanera moved while the feathers made everything look in harmony.
