CAN 2023: Supporters enjoy the Algeria-Burkina Faso match

The Stallions drew, 2-2, this Saturday January 20, 2024 against the Fennecs of Algeria during the second day of the African Football Cup of Nations. After leading twice, coach Hubert Velud’s team was always caught behind. The Stallions are second in Group D behind Angola. The Stallions played very well. But they had to relax in stoppage time, certainly because they believed victory was assured. Which allowed the Algerians to equalize. I think we will have to stay against it in the next match until the end.

Unfortunately we made some mistakes, Algeria believed in it, the players held on and got the draw. Looking at the match as a whole, we could have done better by qualifying for the round of 16.
