Question asked by Yann Le Gac on 12/11/2020
You ask us about a German video relayed on social networks, in particular by covid-skeptical internet users, which shows a person testing applesauce who is positive for the coronavirus. Broadcast in time lapse, we see a person soaking a cotton swab of an apple dessert labeled in german, which she will then check with a rapid antigenic test for Sars-CoV-2 of the German company MedSan (not a PCR test, as some on Twitter indicate). After having waited, a first clear bar appears on the test at the level of C, then a second bar much lighter to be distinguished at the level of T. The author of the video concludes that the test displays a positive result for the compote. of Apple.
