A professional claim
Work occupies a central part in our modern lives. However, the conditions imposed by the rationalization of work, the frantic race to cut costs and the prevalence of economic dimensions alone have shattered the old relationships with work.
It is more and more difficult to be able to do a good job, a job well done, to have good professional relations, within an acceptable framework.
To be able to do a good job is to be able to be proud of what you do, whereas forgetting beauty, or even preventing it, puts everyone in discomfort and frustration. Doing a good job means resisting the economic and managerial pressure of the organization. Alongside the ethical suffering, there is a real aesthetic suffering in the impediment of this beautiful work which nevertheless remains a real professional claim, and a moral right for everyone.
