Canada beats the United States to advance to the 2023 MFM final
In Halifax, Canada, at the Scotiabank Center stadium, the match ended as part of the 1/2 finals of the 2023 World Youth Championship. The US team met with the Canadian team. The Canadians won with a score of 6:2.
Already in the second minute, Logan Cooley brought the nominal owners ahead. In the 11th minute, Kenny Connors doubled the lead for the US team. But a minute later, Connor Bedard won one goal.
At the 21st minute, Logan Stankoven equalized the score in the match. At the 26th minute, Adam Fantilli led the guests ahead. In the 33rd minute, Joshua Rua also scored in the 57th minute.
In the 50th minute, Brandt Clark scored, and Rua again put an end to the match.
The 2023 Youth World Championship runs from December 26 to January 5. The current winner of the tournament is the Canadian national team, which defeated the Finnish team in the final match of last year’s tournament.
