Doha: Canada made another history in the second minute of the second match of the group stage, playing in the World Cup after 36 years. Alphonso Davies scored the country’s first goal in the World Cup against Croatia at the Khalifa International Stadium. Davies’ header went past Croatia goalkeeper Livakovic and into the net. It is also the fastest goal in this World Cup.
