Canadians are hesitant to get their booster shot

One in five Quebecers does not intend to get their booster dose, despite the increase in cases.


According to the survey, many people are hesitating between getting their booster dose right away or waiting until the fall, where the last two years have seen a rise in cases.

“We are facing a seventh wave and a sub-variant which is oddly contagious, so for these reasons, a first booster dose would be important”, mentions virologist Benoit Barbeau.

For people who have already had three doses of the vaccine once morest COVID-19, if you are not in the citizens at risk, the doctor suggests waiting.

“For the second booster dose, I believe that for part of the population it would be different”, says the specialist.
