Next year, Canal+ might celebrate its fortieth anniversary by returning to the stock market… If at least Vivendi’s plan goes as hoped. A major step for the encrypted channel, which aims to enable it to continue to grow by projecting itself even further internationally.

According to our information, following the three-way splitting of Vivendi shares planned by the conglomerate, the Canal+ group (including the C8 and CNews channels) would be listed on the stock market in a group which would also house its stakes in the South African operator Multichoice, the Nordic Viaplay and Hong Kong platforms Viu, as well as the Vivendi subsidiary specializing in very high speed in Africa, GVA (Vivendi Africa Group) and Dailymotion.
