Canceled flight, couple decide to get married 37,000 feet in the air

On their way to their wedding, Pam Patterson and Jeremy Salda saw their nightmare turn into a dream within hours.

The two lovers were heading to Las Vegas to celebrate their love when they found out their connecting flight was canceled, which would force them to miss their own wedding.

A celebrant who heard the news decided to offer his services to marry them.

A few minutes later, the couple and celebrant secured tickets on another flight.

Informed of the situation, the pilot surprised everyone by mentioning that he agreed to organize a wedding in his plane.

The flight attendants then tried to decorate the plane as best they might and one of them volunteered to be the bridesmaid.

The other passengers on the flight who witnessed this story decided to contribute in their own way.

One of them was a professional photographer and offered to immortalize the scene with his camera, while another took out a notebook for the guests to sign.

It was finally at 37,000 feet in the air, flying over the state of Arizona that the two lovers said to themselves, “Yes, I do.”
